The Healthy Nacogdoches Coalition will host Healthy Halloween at Festival Park, Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3 to 5 p.m.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, children and adolescents should get 60 minutes or more of physical activity each day and this candy-free event will encourage children to get moving!
Healthy Nacogdoches and our sponsors are planning fun activities designed for kids 12 and under, including a bounce-house obstacle course, pumpkin ring toss, ghost bowling, and sack races. Kids who participate in Healthy Halloween contests and activities can win prizes and will enjoy healthy treats.
Healthy Halloween is brought to you by Healthy Nacogdoches Coalition and Texas Healthy Communities. The event is sponsored by Nacogdoches Memorial Health. If you are interested in sponsoring, please call The Healthy Nacogdoches Coalition at 936-569-4123.
